Legal Issues are Innately Human

This piece is inspired by the important themes of legal service design and legal technology development. It serves a reminder that even in the corporate world, legal issues have a human element that cannot be ignored.

The first frame, with the opaque circle and the curve running through it, represents the idea that legal issues are complex and multifaceted. The circle symbolizes the legal issue itself, while the curve represents the human element, which is intertwined with and influences the issue. The curve dividing the circle into 2/3 and 1/3 also suggests that legal issues can affect people in different ways, depending on their unique circumstances.

The second frame, which features the mirror image of the 2/3 part of the circle, represents the idea that legal issues must be viewed from multiple perspectives. By seeing the issue from a different angle, we can gain a deeper understanding of the human impact of the issue and create more effective legal solutions.

Finally, the third and final frame, which features the outline of the whole circle, represents the idea that legal issues cannot be fully understood without taking into account the human element. It serves as a reminder that behind every legal issue, there are real people with real experiences and needs that must be considered.

It encourages us to view legal challenges through the lens of the people affected, rather than just through a business or legal lens.  It acknowledges that even corporate legal issues are innately human and should be approached with empathy and understanding.
